All the above five matches in the Hadlee-Chappell ODI trophy are day-night matches. In India you can watch the live telecast of the cricket from this series on Star Cricket.
It will be an important series for Australia more than New Zealand. Having lost both the one day and the test series to South Africa, captain Rickey Ponting is facing severe pressure from fans and media alike. His tactics in the series were seriously questioned, and if Australia don’t fare well in this home series against a team not considered to be amongst the best in world cricket, Australian selectors may well have to think about appointing a new captain.
Both teams are not in great form if the immediate past performances are anything to go by. While Australia have won just one out of their last five one-dayers, New Zealand have been a little better with two.
