Champions Trophy | Live Streaming Pakistan vs Australia

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

India’s future in the Champions Trophy 2009 now hinges on this match. If Australia hand Pakistan a defeat, India will have to bow out and their match against the West Indies will only be of academic interest. As I write, Pakistan are batting first and have reached 89/3 - captain Younis Khan has just got out after a real struggle at the wicket managing just 18 runs off 49 balls. Mitchell Johnson hold on to a skier, and made a rather difficult catch look rather easy.

The wicket is not the easiest to bat on, and this is not your typical 300 runs one day cricket surface. If Pakistan can get to about 250 runs, we should have a match on our hands. The problem however is that 250 looks quite far right now!

You can see the live telecast of the match on Star Cricket to find out more on the progress of the match. For Live Cricket Streaming of the match, refer to the ICC website for correct info. Happy viewing!

Champions Trophy Live Streaming | India vs Australia

Monday, September 28th, 2009

The ICC Champions Trophy 2009 is turning out to be more interesting than it was planned to be. New Zealand and West Indies were supposed to be the weak links, one each in either group. New Zealand has already upset the Lankan applecart while the West Indies troubled the Pakistanis and almost threatened to win the match against Australia. England who got a 6-1 drubbing at home were written off as a non-entity in one day cricket but have been the revelation of the tournament. They first shocked Sri Lanka and yesterday sent the home team South Africa packing out of the tournament.

Will it be India’s turn today? India entered the tournament seeking to cement its place as the World’s No.1 team in one day cricket. But a defeat at the hands of Pakistan means that the India vs Australia match today at the Centurion will be a knock-out match for India. Australia might still get through even if they lose. Chances are that the team which wins today will be the team which makes it to the semi-final.

The India - Australia match begins today at 1230 hours GMT. You can watch the live cricket action on Star Cricket/ESPN. For info on live cricket streaming, please check out the official ICC website for correct info. Happy watching!

India vs New Zealand | Live Cricket Streaming

Monday, February 16th, 2009

The Indian team for the tour to New Zealand has been already announced - already the teams for all three formats of cricket that will be on display in New Zealand have been named. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will lead the Indian campaign in the lone T20 match, the five One Day Matches and the 3 tests. The Indian team is slated to reach New Zealand on the 20th February but unfortunately the tour has been planned to cram in maximum international cricket (cricket that is revenueable, that is) and that means there is not even a single practise match on the tour.

Indian cricket fans can watch the live telecast of the India vs New Zealand cricket matches on tv on Star Cricket. That’s definitely a better option than watching it on Set Max as the quality of the commentators and the quality of the live feed are both better on Star Cricket than Set Max. The other good thing is that on Star Cricket you don’t have the face a barrage of cricket-beauties.

Though it might appear a little early, but it is time to get prepared for “Live Cricket Streaming” of the India - New Zealand series. New Zealand has not been a happy hunting ground for the Indian teams, and cricket fans in India will be hopeful that with the team riding high on a wave of success can put it across the Kiwis this time round. The last win came in, 1967, no less!

Will you be watching the matches live on internet? Start sharing the information about cricket sopcasts and webcast of the series so that all online viewers of the series can be prepared, and watch the series properly. Also add specific information on free and paid packages, and about the highlights packages for the series. You are also welcome to share other live info - live telecast on various television channels across different countries, importantly USA, UK, UAE, Rest of Middle East and Canada. Thanks!

Australia vs New Zealand | Twenty20 | T20 Match | Sydney

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

Australia vs New Zealand T20 Cricket Match - Live from Sydney, Start Time 8:35 GMT, Live Telecast of Cricket on Star Cricket (India). Live Cricket Streaming? Please share your info in the comments area.

Brad Haddin will lead Australia in the T20 match tonight against Australia, as beleagured captain Rickey Ponting headed home for much needed rest after what surely wasn’t his best summer. Ponting was fortunate that rain interrupted the final one-dayer to stave off an embarassing series defeat at home.

Haddin from Australia, and Guptill for New Zealand are the players to watch out for - after the T22 affair a couple of days back, this one promises to be a mouth-watering favour. Lots of the players will have IPL and possible lucrative contracts on their minds too!!

England vs West Indies | 1st Test | Jamaica

Friday, February 6th, 2009

You can watch the Live Telecast of the England vs West Indies 1st Test at Jamaica Live on Star Cricket (for Indian Viewers). Are you instead watching the Live Cricket Streaming of the test on the internet? Which sites? Are you watching it free or paid? Is the quality of the streaming cricket good? Tell us all..we would love to know. Discuss all the info you have on cricket sopcasts/webcasts in the comments area on this blog.

It’s an interesting battle ensuing at the Sabina Park, Kingston Jamaica.

England batted first and scored 318. Kevin Pietersen was the star for England narrowly missing his century to get out for 97. It was an exciting over as Pietersen had scored 14 off the last 3 balls before he got out trying to make it 20 in four balls. Flintoff and Prior were the other contributors for England scoring 43 and 64 respectively. For West Indies Benn was impressive taking 4 wickets while Taylor chipped in with 3.

In response, West Indies are currently well-placed at 321 for the loss for 6 wickets. England though bowled well today not allowing the West Indies batsmen to break free. So far Ramnaresh Sarwan has been the top scorer with a fine century.  He was dismissed for 107 by Broad - though Sarwan tried to reverse the decision by going for a referral, his appeal was reversed. Captain Chris Gayle too scored a century. As we write, Nash and Taylor are at the crease trying to extend the lead and take complete control of the match.

Even though West Indies are well ahead at the moment, it is important for them to take a good lead as they will have to bat last on the Sabina Park wicket where chasing anything over 200 might not be the easiest task.

India vs Sri Lanka | 3rd ODI | Match Preview | Live Cricket Schedule

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

India vs Sri Lanka | 3rd One Day International | 3rd February 2009 | Live on Neo Cricket from 2:30 pm (India)

India are already 2-0 ahead in the five match ODI series againt Lanka having won both the matches so far comfortably.  Though the scorecard would suggest that India won the 2nd match by just 15 runs, it doesn’t tell the whole story. Sri Lanka were never really in the match - at one stage they had been reduced to 36 for 3 and though captain Jayawardene came back well into form forging a hundred run partnership with Kandamby, India looked in control throughout. Had Kapugedera hung on for a little longer with Kandamby things could have been different. But that didn’t happen. Kandamby played well for his 93 and remained unbeaten as he ran out of partners eventually.

The Indian ODI team led by Captain M.S. Dhoni will enter the 3rd ODI tomorrow at Colombo with a chance to equal India’s record for the maximum consecutive eight wins in one-day cricket. On current form, India will be definite favourites in the match and Sri Lanka will need to play out of their skins to stop India from equalling their own best record.

Only twice in the history of one day cricket have teams come back in a five match odi series from being 0-2 down to clinch the series. Will Sri Lanka be able to do anything like that? Watch the match live tomorrow to find out. And don’t forget to share valuable ‘live cricket streaming’ / cricket sopcasts/webcasts information - for both free and paid options with us. Cheers!

Australia vs New Zealand | One Day Cricket Series 2009

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

The Australia vs New Zealand ODI Series for the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy gets underway tomorrow (1st February 2009) with the first match going live at the Western Australia Cricket Ground at Perth (WACA). Here’s the full schedule of the 5 One Day Matches between the two trans-Tasman cricket rivals.

Teams Match Date Venue Live from
Australia vs New Zealand 1st One Day 1st Feb 2009 Perth 4:30 GMT
Australia vs New Zealand 2nd One Day 6th Feb 2009 MCG 3:15 GMT
Australia vs New Zealand 3rd One Day 8th Feb 2009 Sydney 3:15 GMT
Australia vs New Zealand 4th One Day 10th Feb 2009 Adelaide 3:15 GMT
Australia vs New Zealand 5th One Day 13th Feb 2009 Brisbane 3:15 GMT

All the above five matches in the Hadlee-Chappell ODI trophy are day-night matches. In India you can watch the live telecast of the cricket from this series on Star Cricket.

It will be an important series for Australia more than New Zealand. Having lost both the one day and the test series to South Africa, captain Rickey Ponting is facing severe pressure from fans and media alike. His tactics in the series were seriously questioned, and if Australia don’t fare well in this home series against a team not considered to be amongst the best in world cricket, Australian selectors may well have to think about appointing a new captain.

Both teams are not in great form if the immediate past performances are anything to go by. While Australia have won just one out of their last five one-dayers, New Zealand have been a little better with two.

For information on live cricket streaming of the series you can visit this blogpost - Australia vs New Zealand Live Cricket Streaming . Do share with us any similar blog-links or other info you may have about watching live streaming cricket from this exciting series of cricket.

India vs Sri Lanka | 2nd ODI in Dambulla | Match Preview

Friday, January 30th, 2009

India vs Sri Lanka | 2nd ODI | 30th Jan | Watch the cricket live on Neo Cricket from 2:30 pm India time

In their just concluded tour to Pakistan, Sri Lanka had lost the first ODI and question marks were immediately raised over their batting. Critics were soon silenced as Lanka came back strongly to clinch the series with wins in the next two games. This was under a month back and Sri Lanka are in a similar position again having lost the first one dayer against India. Will they bounce back again?

Virender Sehwag will return to the India side having recuperated from his injury. Rohit Sharma will be the likely fall guy.

In the last match, I think Sangakkara’s innings was what put Sri Lanka on the back foot. Though he gave good support to Jayasurya but the wicket-keeper batsman was a tad too slow at a strike rate of about 50. When Sri Lanka tried to raise the average, wickets began to fell and they couldn’t muster up a good enough total that would have challenged the strong Indian batting line-up. They will need to rethink their strategy tomorrow.

My prediction is it will be a great game of cricket, and Sri Lanka will come out on top in a nail-biter! So don’t miss the live action on tv or the internet.

Australia vs South Africa | 5th ODI | Perth

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

Will South Africa not do it again? That’s the big question on every cricket fan’s lips before the 5th and final ODI tomorrow against Australia. South Africa entered the last test in the series with a chance to topple Australia from the top of the ICC Test Rankings. They failed.

Tomorrow, history beckons South Africa yet again - win the match and you are on top of the ICC One Day Team Rankings. Lose it, and South Africa can still celebrate a famous series win. Combine it with the test series win and this is the first team in decades to complete a twin series win in Australia. But South Africa will be left with the dead-series-rubber syndrome to haunt them for years to come. They are yet to full overcome the tag of ‘big game chokers’ and they would not want a similar tag attached, especially at a moment when they are celebrating the completion of their most successful cricket tour.

While Michael Clarke and Bracken will be back in the Aussie team having come out of injuries, South Africa will be weakened by the absence of Ntini. Will that tilt the scale in favour of the home team? Watch the match live tomorrow to find out.

In India, you can watch the match live on Star Cricket. ( Don’t forget that the match is in Perth so the timings will be about 2 hours later than matches in eastern Australia) For live streaming cricket use the information in various parts of this site and the comments area - do leave the info you have about cricket tvants, sopcasts or anything else which is important for live viewing of cricket on the internet. Thanks!

Live Cricket Streaming Links | India vs Sri Lanka | 1st One Day

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Check out the links in the comments area below and in other posts for Live Cricket Links for watching cricket streams of the India vs Sri Lanka ODI and T20 Series.

India’s hurriedly planned short ODI & T20 tour to Sri Lanka begins tomorrow. The 1st One Day International between the two neighbouring nations starts with a day match at Dambulla - live streaming action will begin at 10:00 am in the morning (India Time). Both countries have fabulous recent records in the shorter version of cricket. While India has won each of its last five one days, Sri Lanka enters the series with the confidence of having won six out of its last seven odi series. Recently Sri Lanka overcame Pakistan in another short series after starting with a defeat in the first match.

Sri Lanka’s recent problems have been with the bat. Captain Jayawardene hasn’t been doing very well himself and is low on confidence in spite of the team’s astounding run. On the contrary Indian batting will be strengthened with both Tendulkar and Sehwag in the team. India are definite favourites and slated to win the series but Sri Lanka are a tough nut to crack in their own backyard and it might be an interesting series that can go either way. Tomorrow being the first match of the series will be important in setting the tone for the rest of the 16 days of the tour. So don’t miss live action tomorrow.
