India Vs New Zealand 1st Test Live Cricket Streaming

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

The India vs New Zealand Test Series gets underway in another six hours. You can watch the live telecast of the 1st Test on tv on the cricket channel Set Max. The 1st day’s cricket will start live from 0330 hrs India Standard Time. Regarding live cricket streaming for the test, leave your opinions and views in the comments area below.

India enter a test series in New Zealand for the first time brimming with confidence and as clear favourites. They convincingly won the one day series, and the batting will only be further strengthened as Test cricket specialists VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid join the team. The 1st Test is at Hamilton, where Rahul Dravid averages over100.

History is not too motivating for India as the Indian batting was really abysmal on the last series. This time not only does the batsmen look in better shape, but the Kiwi wickets too don’t look as menacing. At most India will need to be careful with the new ball. If they can get off to a good start, then I don’t see New Zealand being able to pose much of a challenge. However this is just a predictions, and cricket is a funny game. We will know what will happen soon enough – live cricket action is just a few hours away.

India vs New Zealand | 5th One Day | Free Live Cricket

Set Max Live Telecast Schedule for the 5th and Final One Day between India and New Zealand: Saturday, 14th March 2009, Match Starts 0630 hours IST. For Live Cricket Streaming, use the comments area below to post your info. The match will be held at Auckland. Thanks!

Auckland Team Track-Records:

India have played 6 one day matches here, winning 3 and losing 3. New Zealand have played 56 – won 27, lost 29. But that record is worse if you count only day-night matches wherein NZ have won just 2 of 13. So not much to cheer for again, for the Kiwis.

After that great run-fest in the 3rd One Day at Christchurch, every cricket fan is waiting for more. That match had everything a cricket fan could ask for. A great innings from the maestro Sachin Tendulkar. Around the arc lusty hitting from Yuvraj Singh. A great cameo at the end of the Indian innings from Suresh Raina, who is increasingly looking the future of Indian ODI cricket. India scored 392 runs, no less, yet the match was hardly over at half-time.

When Brendon Mc Cullum and Jesse Ryder walked into bat, no one gave New Zealand an iota of a chance. But the two played sensibly yet quick runs came and the two Kiwi openers helped the home team cross 150 without the loss of any wicket, and then it looked like a match on. But then a flurry of wickets killed the match but towards the end, some lusty hitting by Mills and other New Zealand lower order batsmen created some panic in the Indian camp. Munaf Patel definitely lost his head and when he bowled two height no-balls he was promptly removed from bowling by the umpire.

India finally won the match by 58 runs, but that margin doesn’t tell the whole story. Let’s hope that the 4th One Day turns out to be as interesting. But don’t forget to post your live streaming cricket links in the comments area!

You can watch the Live Telecast of the match on Sony Max starting 0630 hours India Standard Time. Though the fear of rain playing foul with the cricket hovers over this match too, but weather forecast for the match say that there is only a 20% chance of rain so we should hopefully have a full match tomorrow. The Christchurch wicket, like the rest of the pitches in New Zealand is now at the end of the cricket season and shouldn’t have too much in it for the bowlers. You can expect a good run-fest provided the weather gods allow.

India vs New Zealand | 1st One Day | Napier

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

Ian Butler will return to the New Zealand team for the One Day Series beginning tomorrow with the first one day at Napier. Both Nathan McCullum who was a part of the NZ twenty20 team and spinner Jeetan Patel have failed to make it to the one day team. Jesse Ryder who impressed with his clean hitting in the t20 matches has been selected alongwith all-rounder Jacob Oram.

For India, Sachin Tendulkar who was not a part of the t20 matches will join the team for the limited overs matches.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be keen to amend the losses of the t20 series in the one day matches. India are better placed to win the one day series compared to New Zealand in spite of those setbacks. India has a much better batting than New Zealand and the longer varieties of cricket – both one day and tests should suit them better. However New Zealand are a tough nut to crack at home, and their recent success against Australia in the latter’s backyard would only make them more confident of their chances.

All in all it looks like it poses to be a challenging series for both teams, and either team can take home the series with no clear favouries. Live Telecast of the One Day Series can be seen in India on Set Max. India vs Sri Lanka | T20 Match | 10th Feb | Colombo

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

Have info on Live Cricket Streaming of the match? Share with us and our readers in the comments area below – Also the India vs New Zealand series is beginning in another two weeks. If you have early info on that, add to it. ( Streaming Cricket Live / Highlights Packages / Sopcasts / Info on TVants etc )

Later today, Sri Lanka will take on India at Colombo in what will be the first ever Twenty20 International Match in Sri Lanka. India will have the edge after their stupendous performance in the one-day series. Besides the Indian team is packed with players who are perfect for this slam-bang variety of cricket. Yusuf Pathan can be devastating for a couple of overs – and in a 20 overs match, that can sometimes make all the difference.

But that is exactly the reason why it will be difficult to predict an outcome of the match. T20 matches, as we saw during the T20 world cup and the IPL, can turn on their heads in as little as two overs. Sometime even one. A few lusty blows from the blades of Jayasurya or just about anyone else can tilt the match decisively, and from an average looking score of 125/5 in 14 overs a team can often reach a much healthier looking 150/5 in 16 overs! That’s the beauty of the format – a match is rarely ever dead. Therefore India will have a very slender edge, if any. So don’t miss watching the game live – should be great fun.
